On Saturday June 2, some G-TAR derby girls roller skated in the Veggie Pride Parade. Chili Pester, Nurse Bok Choy aka Nurse Joy, Fennel slaw-tastic aka Fanny Slamtastic, Vegetable Wontons aka Wanton Roller along with Vegetable Vixen aka Kimmy Kan Bash Em from the Rollergettes.
It was a fun time skating down Yonge Street, glad we had at least one vegetarian, Fanny, rolling with us. Â We cheered the crowds and passed out flyers for our home games. Â Lots of derby love out there.
