Riley Rage never knew her parents. In fact she never knew parents at all; born into foster care she grew up in an orphanage run by a diabetic house mother who refused to allow candy or toys inside the house. With only a Ouija board and a cardboard box to play with as a child she found herself constantly yearning to play with the children in the public school across the street. The house mother ran home schooling classes from the orphanage and Riley was the only girl her age in the house at the time.

At the age of 15 she ran away from the orphanage and found refuge in a crack den in Scarborough. Although she had no interest in crack, the regular flow of junk food into the den got her hooked on something else: candy. With the freedom to eat as much candy as she wanted Riley found herself stuck in the childhood she never got to experience. However underneath her easy to please childlike exterior was a deep seeded hatred for her orphanage matron and the people who subjected her to all of those tortuous years of solidarity and boredom. Looking for an outlet for this loathing she turned to Roller Derby and hasn’t looked back since. It’s not until she puts on her skates and hits the track that you’ll understand the true meaning of Riley Rage.
